Our team of JDK Wedding Specialists adore love stories and want to know all about yours and how that translates into your most special day at The Willows. Once you have your date booked and selected, you will be connected with our team to schedule your personalized detail meeting, where we take a deep dive into your personal love story and vision, menu selections, timeline details, logistical event flow, tablescape settings, specialty linens and rental items, vendor team information, and more!
This meeting typically occurs 6-10 months out from wedding day based on booking time.
Custom Proposal
After your personalized detail meeting, your JDK Wedding Specialist will follow up with a custom, comprehensive proposal that outlines all catering and event production details for your wedding day celebrations. You could think of this initial custom proposal as a living detailed chapter book of your day’s most special details, which can be updated through your wedding planning journey as you confirm more details for your big day!
Tasting Event Experience
An additional unique feature about your personalized wedding catering planning journey at The Willows with JDK is your own tasting experience. You have the option to attend either our seasonal group wedding tasting event experience or a private chef tasting for up to (4) four guests at The Willows at Ashcombe Mansion. Private tastings are based on a (2) two hour experience. Tasting events and private tastings are currently included for wedding clients only.
Custom Menu Capabilities
Interested in creating a fully custom menu with our team of Culinary Artists!? Crafting a menu that is unique to your love story is something that our talented team lives for! From developing a menu full of a variety of ethnic cuisine fusions, to recreating family favorite recipes or incorporating a fully themed menu around your favorite foods – our internationally-recognized team is prepared to make your wedding menu unforgettable.
Final Details Review + Walkthrough
Your “I Do” day is getting closer! When you get near to the 6-week out mark for your big day, we like to arrange a final review and walk through of the full flow of your wedding day details at The Willows. Your JDK Wedding Specialist is there to make sure every “i” is dotted and “t” is crossed when it comes to your catering and event production detail selections.
