The Historic Ashcombe Mansion

Our Victorian Queen Anne style mansion was built in 1891.  The mansion originally served as a summer home for Margaret Moser, widow of the Honorable Henry G. Moser, an iron manufacturer, legislator, and county judge.  Our approximately 7,563 square-foot historic Victorian Lady has undergone a restoration of a lifetime to create a unique and sophisticated setting for life’s most special celebrations.  Its three full floors of meticulously restored historic charm include old stone facades, original custom millwork, winding Victorian-era staircases, original stained glass windows, and much more.  We cannot wait for you to explore more of the mansion’s magic below!

First Floor

First Floor

Showcasing the original mansion parlor, library, and dining room, the first floor has been lovingly restored down to the original hardwood parquet floors which we have meticulously repaired piece by piece. We have carefully preserved as much of the original mansion as possible, including the stained-glass windows, curved glass windows in the 1st floor turrets, wood paneling in the dining and library, hand painted wallpaper, and the grand circular front porch.

Complete with the Gents’ lounge, five bedroom suites and four full bathrooms, the second floor brings new meaning to refined relaxation.
